WPL T20 2023 - मिलिए मुंबई इंडियंस से

Women Premier League well known by the name of Tata WPL and run by BCCI is all set to kickstart it’s first season on 4th March 2023. The auction for the league was held on 13th Feb 2023 at the the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. A total of five Teams will compete in the tournament.

Here we are bringing the details of each and every Team for you for the Women Premier League 2023. Let’ begin with Mumbai Indians first.

The Mumbai Indians franchise was bought by Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) with the second highest bid of 912.99 crores ($111 million). The Mumbai Indian franchise has an all-women coaching staff with former England captain Charlotte Edwards as the Head Coach of the franchise.

Jhulan Goswami has been appointed as the mentor and Bowling Coach of the Mumbai Indians franchise. Former all-rounder Devika Palshikar was made the Batting Coach.

Mumbai Indians Strength
One of the best, the current Captain of the India Team हरमनप्रीत कौर has been roped in by the Mumbai Indians franchise. The batting line-up of the Mumbai Indians franchise looks very strong with some big names including Harmanpreet Kaur, Natalie Sciver Ameliya Kerr, Hayley Matthews.
Mumbai Indians franchise overseas players Natalie Sciver, Amelia Kerr and Matthews are performing well and their form is going very well which is a very good sign for MI team.
MI also has good fast bowler options which include Indian all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar, Tryon and Wong etc.



Mumbai India Weakness
The biggest weakness of the MI franchise is seen in their spin bowlers as MI does not have a single good Indian bowler in the form of spin. 
As overlooked, the MI franchise does not have any other good Indian fast bowler except Pooja Vastrakar.  The tournament for the MI franchise will see some shortcomings in both the fast bowlers and spin bowlers.
