Rohit Sharma scored 120 in the day 2. Ravindra and Axar scored 66 and 52 respectively which led the dominacne of Indian Team on day 2 as well. This extended India’s lead to 144 runs from the Australia. India was at 321/7 on Friday. Australia also did the good job with the ball as captured wickets at regular intervals. Rohit, Jadeja and Axar kept India in the driver's seat throughout the day.
On the day 3, India took a lead of 1-0 in the series by defeating Australia by 132 runs. India took all the 10 wickets in just one session. Indian bowlers made Australian Team all out at 91 runs only. Steve Smith only could able to score highest 24 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin captured 5 wickets of Australia Mohammad Shami and Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets each while Axar Patel contributed by taking one wicket. The second challenge will be played on 17th Feb 2023 in Delhi.

रोहित शर्मा: As an opener batsman, captain रोहित शर्मा gave Team India a strong start by playing a century innings of 120 runs.
रवींद्र जडेजा: रवींद्र performed well in bat and bowl both. In both the innings he took 7 wickets in all. He contributed 70 runs in the innings which helped India to lead the score.
रविचंद्रन अश्विन: Ravi took 8 wickets in both the innings. He contribute with 23 runs to the overall score of Team India.
